India-Inspired

There are many in India who talk about mixing the old and the new, but there are few who have actually analysed it and chain it into a décor style coming into its own.

Design style which makes full use of items with history that creates a story in its own.

Kolam and Wood Craft

There is an art done through rice flour painting called Kolam which is a craft of South India. Kolams are geometric line drawings composed of curved loops, drawn around a grid pattern of dots.

Female Hindu family members paint them in front of their homes. It is a sign of invitation to welcome all into the home, so inspiration came from there.

Time Flew But Craft Remained

This wooden Craftsmanship grows from generation to generation.

Wood carving is in the blood of Saharanpur, it is a common sight where you can spot everybody either they have a shop of Pan, Kirana or having a good showroom of shoes, etc will have some tools of carving. They do not lose the opportunity to utilize their time in carving on small items like wooden boxes, incense burners, etc.

The idea is to mix both these craft elements together for a new modern look.

Live Mindfully

Supporting the world through choices  is always good , to buy new stuff – do buy sustainable and empathic, Some traditions never get old. That certainly holds true for a lot of artisans.

Traditional wooden items, not only impress your guests and relatives but also relate to your state of mind. Each piece selected reflects a part of the rich cultural heritage of India. Saharanpur Handicrafts can never go out of style as these units are meant to last for ages to come.
